Postal Try on - Info

We offer a postal try on service for customers who are not in Palmerston North for in-store try ons!

Our postal try on service opens on Wednesdays for garments which have not been booked for the coming weekend. Each Wednesday we will be in contact via email with those on the waitlist if your garment is available to send for a postal try on.

How it works: 

1. If you are wanting to do a postal try on, please view our Postal Try on - Register Interest page and fill in the form with your full name, email, phone number, and the dress/dresses you would like for a postal try on. 

2. Click 'Send' and you will be added to the waitlist for a postal try on for the dress/dresses

3. Our postal try on service opens Wednesdays each week for garments which have not been booked for the coming weekend. If you are at the top of the waitlist and the dress is available, we will contact you via email with instructions and a link on how to complete the postal try on payment 

4. Your try on will then be posted to you that Thursday with overnight courier and should arrive to you that Friday or Saturday. The rentals will arrive with security tags attached. Do not remove these. 

5. Try on the dress/dresses from the comfort of your home! If you would like to book one for your event, please complete a new booking through the website. 

6. Return the dress(es) by handing them over a post office counter either the day they arrive, or before 4pm Monday at the latest. 

7. We will send you store credit if you decide to book the dress in. Store credit is $10 per dress tried on and is valid for 1 week

 

Terms & Conditions: 

- Postal try ons cost $20 per dress plus the overnight return courier ($12). However you will get $10 store credit per dress back to go towards your rental booking

- Maximum of 3x dresses per postal try on (subject to garment availability)

- If the dresses do not fit, you will not receive any compensation. This try on fee is non-refundable

- The rental can not be put on hold for the date of your event. In booking a postal try on, you are taking the risk that the dress may be booked for your event date by another customer. 

- If the rentals are returned without the security tags attached, you will be charged the full rental price. 

- Postal try ons are unavailable for weekends with a public holiday. 

- Postal try ons are not available for rural addresses. 

- If the rentals are damaged while in your possession, you are liable to pay the associated cleaning, repair, or replacement cost. Please do not wear fake tan, make up or any jewellery that may pull the dress while trying on. 

- If the rentals are not handed over a post office counter by 4pm the following Monday, you will be charged a daily late fee of $20. 

- Please be aware: The condition of the garment may have deteriorated between your postal try on and event. 

PLEASE NOTE: We cannot guarantee that by being added to the waitlist we will be able to fit you in for a postal try on before your event date. Postal try ons need to work around booked in rentals and these take priority. We will be in contact with you as soon as you're at the top of the waitlist and the dress is available for a postal try on
